Worryingly, Karsten and his crew of merry men obtained the binary codes by simple brute force -- they fed enough random strings of numbers in to effectively guess the password.

Console scuttlebutt: multi-core CPU for next-gen PlayStation, Intel inside future Wii

Two separate reports from Japan’s Impress touch on both units, with speculation and insider information on the former suggesting that Intel could be in talks with the Big N about powering the second Wii.

Hard details are obviously tough to come by, but word has it that the two are mulling a GPU / CPU combo similar to the Larrabee; granted, we’d prefer something a touch more potent in the Wii 2, but we wouldn’t be shocked if Nintendo chooses the less powerful path yet again. In related news, it seems as if Sony could be looking for an alternative to its Cell CPU in the PlayStation 4, an alternative that involves some sort of "multi-core CPU". Potentially more interesting is the notion that Sony’s next-gen handheld could be out before said console, which is loosely pegged for a 2013 release

It’s a pretty standard box with equally customary assortment of packaged accessories, suction cup stand (pictured) notwithstanding. The 7-inch Android tablet looks pretty matched with the Nook in terms of overall size, but by design that lends itself to having a larger overall screen. Not much in the way of impressions at this point, but if you’re the type of person who can be satisfied with a video and a handful of product / comparison shots, hit up Gear Diary for the still frames and stay tuned after the break for the “moving pictures” version

Bagaimanakah caranya ? Cukup mudah, anda hanya perlu duduk di lantai dengan meluruskan kedua kaki kedepan dengan ujung kaki menghadap keatas, kemudian coba anda raih ujung kaki itu, bila anda bisa menyentuh ujung kaki, maka artinya jantung anda masih sehat.

Mmmhhh, masa sih gitu aja caranya? Adakah data ilmiahnya?

Enjoy !

Com :
KapanLagi.com - Pemain: Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, Michelle Rodriguez, Stephen Lang, Joel David Moore, Giovanni Ribisi, CCH Pounder, Dileep Rao, Matt Gerald, Laz Alonso, Peter Mensah, Wes Studi

It’s no wonder, then, that the thing has been a lightning rod for the “information wants to be free crowd,” almost since the beginning. Sure, we’ve seen Mobipocket , .epub, and .pdf files used on the device, but if you really want to bedevil Bezos the thing to do would be to altogether circumvent the DRM from your Amazon e-books — and it looks like an Israeli hacker named Labba has done just that. For the time being, the hack, which allows you to convert your legally obtained e-books to unencrypted PDF files, is available as a Python script. We’re sure that the process will be streamlined for us civilians soon enough — let’s just hope that it happens before the hole gets plugged and your e-reader auto-updated.

Some of you thought that was impractical, and it was quite expensive. Art Lebedev has now conceived another idea that will probably very expensive to implement, but very useful. Though the conference is always strong on tech speakers (that’s what the “T” in its name stands for), usually that means folks like Bill Gates (who’s presenting again this year) and Tim Berners-Lee. Poole has only rarely appeared publicly, and kept his identity secret for years after he started the site at age 15 in 2003. He’s presenting at TED during a session on the topic of “provocation,” in between a Harvard government professor famous for lectures about justice and an anti-slavery activist. 4chan’s contributions to the world, at their best, are memes like Rickrolling and lolcats, but its members are also known for mounting online attacks on sites, individuals and the Church of Scientology.

At least two of them, Apple and Google, are being scrutinized especially closely, according to sources within the company. Despite the strong start Windows 7 has had, and Windows’ huge installed base, the company realizes that there are new challenges in the changing marketplace that have to be met head-on if the Windows brand is to continue to flourish. Specifically, Microsoft is taking note of competitive pressures from Google, with its Android and Chrome operating systems, saying that the search giant “poses a whole new set of challenges.” As for Apple, Microsoft noted that the company could not be forgotten, because there would still be the “the traditional competition” from Cupertino. Linux was not explicitly mentioned, though this is likely because Microsoft believes it poses a bigger threat in the business space, and sources say this particular discussion looked at the consumer-facing aspects of the Windows brand.

ITL describes how flaws in TXT can be used to compromise the integrity of a software loaded via an Intel TXT-based loader in a generic way, fully circumventing any protection TXT is supposed to provide. The attack exploits an implementation error in the so-called SINIT Authenticated Code modules and that could potentially allow a malicious attacker to elevate their privileges. Intel has released a patch for the affected chipsets, which include the Q35, GM45, PM45 Express, Q45, and Q43 Express.” Here are ITL’s press release and Intel’s advisory (both PDF)

But people familiar with the discussions between Apple ( NSDQ: AAPL ) and video programmers over a possible subscription package say the talk is far ahead of the action, one reason why details are still murky. If the subscription package could be pulled off with an announcement from a single player, I have no doubt Disney ( NYSE: DIS ), which isn’t commenting about this but multiple sources tell me is open to the idea, would be first in line. Not because Apple CEO Steve Jobs is a major shareholder in Disney but because Disney liked the publicity—and the results—from being first in the iTunes store with prime-time episode sales and movies.

Between devastating financial losses and corporate restructuring, it was a bit of a wonder to see the company handle 2009 as well as it did, publishing some great games like The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Athena , Ghostbusters , and Champions Online. It looks like Atari may have jumped out of the pot and into a seething cauldron, however, as it is facing a couple of substantial lawsuits related to how it recently handled the Dungeons & Dragons license it holds, and how it treated some of the associated parties. The biggest—and possibly most damaging—suit facing Atari was filed last week by Hasbro, the noted toy and board game company which happens to own tabletop game publisher Wizards of the Coast. Back in May, Namco Bandai bought a 34 percent stake in Atari Europe, and Namco Bandai also purchased Infogrames’ interest in Distribution Partners this past July.
